Introducing the White Tiger, our latest Funformance board designed specifically for average / below average waves. It's a fun and agile shortboard that excels in weaker sections while allowing for powerful lip smashes and boosted airs. Originally a side project for John John Florence, who typically rides performance boards, it quickly became a favourite for his brother Ivan, who praised its surf / skate style. Eventually, John gave it a try and now it's one of his go-to boards for leisurely sessions off the tour.

The White Tiger features a clean and stubby outline with a full nose and wide squash tail. Its beak-nose design maintains volume under the chest area for enhanced paddle power. The even and flowing bottom rocker ensures quick water entry, allowing for effortless speed generation. The board incorporates a single / double concave in the front two-thirds, transitioning into a pronounced vee / double concave through the fins and off the tail. This combination provides lift, easy rail-to-rail transitions, and smooth turning capabilities.

With its flat deck blending into tapered rails, the White Tiger maintains volume without sacrificing sensitivity and responsiveness. For optimal performance, we recommend riding it 2-5 inches shorter than your regular shortboard, .5 to 1 inch wider, and with slightly more volume. Both John John Florence and Ivan prefer the 5'6" White Tiger, whereas their usual boards are 6'0".
