Shipping policy

Dispatch

We aim to pack and dispatch orders placed before 3pm on the same working day. For surfboards and bulky items, the cut-off is 1pm.

Orders placed after the relevant cut-off will normally be dispatched on the next working day. Working days exclude weekends and UK Bank Holidays. Dispatch times are targets rather than guarantees and may be affected by stock availability, payment checks or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

UK Delivery

UK orders are sent using Royal Mail or another courier, depending on the size, value and destination of the order. Surfboards and bulky items are sent by courier.

Our current UK delivery services and charges are:

  • Free Royal Mail 48 delivery on eligible orders over £100, excluding surfboards and bulky items.
  • Royal Mail 48: £4.95.
  • Royal Mail 24: £6.95.
  • Saturday delivery: £9.99.
  • Bulky-item courier delivery: £12.
  • Surfboard courier delivery: £30.

The services available for your particular order will be shown at checkout. Delivery is charged once per order rather than separately for each item.

Royal Mail 24 aims to deliver on the next working day but is not a guaranteed next-day service. Royal Mail 48 normally aims to deliver within two to three working days. Delivery times begin when the order is dispatched, not when it is placed.

Surfboards and Bulky Items

Surfboards and bulky items have a 1pm same-day dispatch cut-off and are sent by courier. Royal Mail 24, free standard delivery and Saturday delivery are not available for these products.

Bulky items may include bodyboards, large board bags and other products that cannot be sent using our standard parcel services. The applicable delivery charge will be displayed at checkout.

Scotland and Northern Ireland

The next-working-day delivery aim may not apply to some areas of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Delivery to these locations will normally take two or more working days. The available delivery options will be displayed at checkout based on your postcode.

Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Delivery

Saturday delivery is available for eligible orders placed before 3pm on Friday and costs £9.99

We do not offer a guaranteed Sunday delivery service. A carrier may nevertheless choose to deliver certain parcels on a Sunday. Deliveries are not normally made on UK Bank Holidays.

Orders placed after the relevant cut-off, or on a weekend or UK Bank Holiday, will normally be dispatched on the next working day.

European and International Delivery

International delivery charges and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on the destination and the products in your basket.

Where duties and taxes are shown as included at checkout, the order will be shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). This means the amount paid at checkout includes the applicable import duties and taxes collected for the destination, and no further import duty or tax should normally be requested when the goods are delivered.

Deliveries to the Channel Islands are not sent DDP. Duties and taxes are not collected at checkout for these destinations and may be payable to the courier or relevant authority before delivery.

Regional pricing, courier restrictions and other factors can occasionally affect the cost of international delivery. If we identify a problem with the delivery charge before accepting your order, we will contact you and offer the choice of accepting the revised charge or cancelling the affected order for a full refund. We will not change the charge for an accepted order without your agreement, and your statutory rights will not be affected.

We provide couriers with the commercial invoices and shipping documents required for international transport. Customs processing or local courier delays may affect the estimated delivery date.

Delivery Delays

Delivery estimates may be affected by severe weather, courier disruption, customs processing or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed and deliver your order as soon as possible. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Stock Availability

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and offer the choice of waiting for the item, selecting an alternative or receiving a refund for the unavailable item.

Delivery Problems

If your order is late, missing, damaged or incorrectly delivered, please email info@wetsuitcentre.co.uk with the subject line “Delivery update” and include your order number.

Please contact us rather than relying solely on the courier, as Sorted Surf Shop Limited remains responsible for fulfilling your order.
