The Gem is a collaboration between Dan Mann and 3x World Longboard Champion, Taylor Jensen. Earlier this year, Taylor approached Dan with the idea of creating a ‘one board in the trunk‚' option for longboarders who want the perfect balance of trim and turns. He essentially asked for a design that would fall between his TJ Pro and TJ Everyday models. Dan's response was a unique blend of shortboard-inspired concaves and a longboard outline, paired with the same fin placements Taylor prefers in all his boards. Together, they named this model The Gem, symbolizing its value as a one-board quiver for 9-foot-plus riders who can trim on the nose just as effortlessly as they carve on the rail. The diamond tail is no accident—it's truly a Gem.
