Twin fin design has barely changed in decades. The FCS II Album Laminar Twin is a genuine departure from that. Developed in collaboration with Matt Parker and his team at Album Surfboards, it applies laminar flow hydrodynamics to a fin foil for the first time, keeping water attached to the fin surface for longer rather than letting it break away early and create drag. The result is more sustained drive through the turn and hold that builds from the moment you engage your rail rather than spiking at the entry and fading. The cambered foil is the key to how it works, a gentle intentional curve that actively generates lateral force through a turn rather than waiting for the surfer to load the fin. Built from Performance Glass for consistent stiffness under pressure, and compatible with the FCS II system across fish, funboard, and twin fin boards. The L-XL size is recommended for surfers above 85kg.
